 Many homeowners choose to leave the wood chips in place initially because they gradually settle into the ground, helping minimize future depressions in the yard. While the mound may appear higher at first, it naturally breaks down and becomes less noticeable over time.

 Yes. If you prefer the area restored immediately, we can remove the excess wood chips and backfill the area with topsoil to create a smoother finish. Because this requires additional materials and labor, restoration is available as an optional service for an additional charge.
